Dragon Queen: WHAT DOES THE CHORUS SAY

So, I've read some lyrics online, and they say that in the chorus it goes
"how aren't you not gonna show me your scars
how aren't you gonan get high high"

but.. that doesn't sound right to me...

is it only lalalas? is it another language?

Cause I hear:
Halalakashunuska
Halalashuhaha

hehe
what do you think?

The only reason I think that's what it says is because one of the venue posters had it in scratchy writing on the side...

Because the YYY's never really reveal their lyrics, even the poster could be wrong, as independent artists make them.

The consensus seems to be;

How are you not going to show your scar?
How are you not going to get high, high?

I can't verify this though, as there have not, and never will be official lyrics released by the YYYs. Sooo mysterious.


Ooh actually you're quite right. I saw the Bay Arena Radio Show poster posted on here and on that those were the lyrics used!

Okay, in my attempt at forming words out of the strange tribal tongue Karen O appears to be speaking this is what I've come up with: "How your lovin' gonna show no scars?"
But I checked on some lyrics sites and apparently people think it also says "Hop along we're gonna show you stuff" among other weirder interpretations.
