When I attended Job Corps, in 1978-79, because I was a bad boy, Preston Pearson, Robert Newhouse, and John Riggins, came down to do a United Way commercial that I was asked to participate in -- in "Retailing". I had a chance to really chat with the guys I saw as my heroes, but never saw the commercial on television as promised. But now you can collect a few genuine America's Team apparel and gift items by me, Stanley Mathis, the poet who penned America's Team, the poem, that the world famous Dallas Cowboys sold in black lacquer frames throughout their pro shops, in 1997, at:
